The full moon rising over Makira Natural Park just outside of our wild silk communities in Madagascar is a magical sight to behold.  This wall hanging brings that stunning beauty into your home.  

This wall hanging is hand-crafted from Ceranchia wild silk, which is a species of silk only found in Madagascar. The silk cocoons are sustainably harvested, ironed flat, and sewn together. They are then naturally dyed with local plants from our artisans' dye plant garden.  This piece is dyed with a local plant called Hazovola (meaning 'money tree'), which gives the beautiful rose gold color.  The gold moon is the natural undyed color of the wild silk.  

Comes with a bamboo pole for easy hanging.
