Collection: Tanana Silk

Originating from the rainforests of Madagascar, each textile is hand-crafted using endemic wild silk and raffia. Fair Trade and Wildlife Friendly.

We believe in finding balance between the needs of people and nature by creating an effective and innovative environment-conserving enterprise. We have developed a new solution to conservation issues by working with farmers to plant native trees. These become the host plants to endemic silk worms, whose cocoons are harvested and used to create unique, wild silk textiles. This enterprise gives both farmers and artisans the opportunity to earn a comfortable living wage.

100% of the profits from Tanana Silk are returned directly to our farmers and artisans in Madagascar.
