An original design by The Talavera Hub—handmade by our family partner workshop in Guanajuato, Mexico—this piece blends traditional artistry with rustic charm. It is hand-painted and kiln-fired with a lead-free glaze.
Style: This brown and white Talavera frijolero features a floral-inspired pattern with a matte exterior and glossy glazed interior. Its classic rounded shape and handled lid make it perfect for both functional and decorative use—ideal as a soup pot, centerpiece, or even a flower pot.
Quality: Each pot is handmade from durable clay, oven safe up to 400°F, and finished with a lead-free glaze inside. While sturdy, it should be handled with care to preserve its artisanal finish. If using for cooking, it must be cured first—please reach out for instructions.
Shipping: Every order is securely packaged to ensure safe delivery. If any damage occurs in transit, I’ll make sure to resolve it quickly for you.
SIZE: This versatile piece holds approximately 128 ounces (1 gallon) and measures about 9" diameter and 9" tall, making it a beautiful and functional addition to your kitchen or table display.
Unique: Each product is handmade so they will vary by size and design. Items are selected at random. If you’d like something specific, feel free to message me and I’ll try to work something out with you.
